All Rugged Up

He looks like a bit of a sea-faring Bear, I think!

Banana Llama

How can you not love this little guy?! He's just so happy to be running around, towards the bananas he adores...

Handsome Boy with a Cold

I find boys harder to draw than girls.

He was meant to be all handsome, rugged and a touch of brooding maybe.Instead  he looks like he has a cold.

Oh well. At least he's wearing a jacket.

Crocodile Smile

A different school of crocodile smile, I think!

Yeech!

Something revolting this way comes.

I like how the 'ugh' factor extends to the tall skinny dude's curled up left toes!

Monsieur Mudtart Scoffs

Oui.

Our Monsieur Mudtart has been caught scoffing a cupcake on the sly.

His reward, he thinks defiantly, for having walked Chou-Chou the poodle.

Come now, M. Mudtart, if you believe that, you believe anything...

Perfect Pos(e)ture

Of course it takes no effort at all to replicate such a pose for the camera.

None at all.

No neck cricks or back spasms or sore behinds.

Not when you've got Perfect Pos(e)ture.

Stealth-Cat is on the Case

Torch, mask and stick of dynamite at the ready, Stealth-Cat is always ready to go.

Hugging its back to the wall as it creeps up the dark stairs into certain danger, Stealth-Cat is loving every minute of the adventure.

Bring it on World, I'm ready!

I've got my shoelaces tied, my hat is brimming with unshakable confidence, let's go World, I'm ready!!

Monsieur Froggue Goes Healthy

'An apple a day'?

We-ell, it's not zat bad-tasting, je suppose.

But, pfff, not so very exciting, either...

Expressionless

The bear waited for us outside.

Its expression gave nothing away; it seemed unaffected by the bitter wind.

We would know more once we went inside.

Crude Colouring

It doesn't get much cruder, but I like it.

Symbolises the cheerful, insouciant energy of a five year-old's creativity,  I think.

Yes, of course that's the effect I was going for.

A Lesson in being High and Mighty

"Look closely, Little 'Un, it's not just about looking down your nose, it's about the facial expression, and you have to get the arch of the neck just right too".

January 2014 Theme: Doodles

I've been struggling to think of a new theme for this month's montage. Well, actually, that's not strictly true. I have lots of possibilities, but I'm really enjoying the 'Lines/Doodles' theme from December.

So, in the spirit of 'when you're on a good thing, stick to it', and 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it', I'm sticking with the doodling/noodling theme.

I'll pretend I'm varying it from the December theme by calling it 'Doodles' this month.

And let's face it, it's nice to find an alternate home for these many thousands of doodles I've generated over the years - somewhere other than just between the pages of a notebook!
