Ok , yes, just a spoonful or 2 of Photoshopping going here - to really bring out the sunshine in the dandelion.

I've always been a big fan of those photo compositions which do intense, beautiful close-ups of, say, a flower - while blurring the background in subtle harmony. 

This pic is part of a long series I took of this particular dandelion. And I'm rather proud to say that many of them have that  'blurred background' effect that I like.

It's amazing what you notice going on in the world around you - especially when you look really closely. The little splashes of colour on these guys are what caught my eye as I wandered by.
